Project location: Hami, Xinjiang
Configuration: 40MW desert photovoltaic and energy storage integrated power generation project
Project overview
"The project adopts block power generation and centralized grid connection scheme. The project plans to build a photovoltaic capacity of 40MW, and the energy storage system is equipped with a charging power of 40MW. It is currently one of the highest altitude and largest photovoltaic and energy storage integrated projects in the world. The project is expected to generate 72 million kWh of electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving 26,200 tons of standard coal, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 7,900 tons, and reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 2,400 tons.
